Eva Longoria is getting married!
The “Telenovela” actress took to Instagram on Sunday to announce that she is engaged to boyfriend (now fiancé) Jose Antonio Baston, who popped the question while on holiday in Dubai.
“Ummmm so this happened…#Engaged #Dubai #Happiness,” Longoria, 40, wrote in the photo’s caption.
The image shows Longoria and Baston kissing passionately while showing off a huge sparkler on her left hand.
Longoria and Baston, 46, made their first public appearance in November 2013 after weeks of keeping their relationship quiet. Baston is president of Televisa, the largest media company in Latin America.
Rumors of an engagement have swirled throughout the couple’s two year relationship. The actress herself has shut down a number of them, recently in July after paparazzi photos showed her wearing a diamond ring on her left hand.
“This is a ring, I’ve had this ring forever,” she said on the Australian breakfast show Kyle and Jackie O. “This is just a Martin Catz band that I move (on) my hands depending on my swelling. I move fingers, I do.”
Baston’s proposal must have also come as a surprise to Longoria, who last year ruled our walking down the aisle for the third time.
“Marriage and kids are not on the horizon,” she told InTouch magazine last year.
The actress was previously married to NBA player Tony Park for four years and to actor Tyler Christopher for two years.
Longoria and Baston were in Dubai for the Global Gift Foundation gala.
“No words for this handsomeness!” she captioned a photo of the two on Saturday.
