• Police have searched for Laci Peterson since Christmas Eve, when her husband reported her missing upon his return from a fishing trip he said he took that day to the Berkeley Marina. Former LAPD detective, Mark Fuhrman will investigate the case tonight.

• Sen. Joe Lieberman announced his candidacy for the Democratic presidential nomination Monday, saying the American dream was still in reach but that politicians needed to get beyond partisan bickering.

According to his prepared remarks, Lieberman was to say, "Today, I am ready to rise above partisan politics to fight for what's right for the American people. I am ready to protect their security, revive their economy and uphold their values.

• Then, he's the great-grandson of cosmetics magnate Max Factor. How did Andrew Luster, who is on trial for rape in California, manage to escape from house arrest? Authorities said 39-year-old Luster fled his beachfront home Friday in his sport utility vehicle, accompanied by his dog. We'll talk to an attorney who was caught in the middle of a very similar case years ago… Mickey Sherman, former defense attorney for Alex Kelly and Michael Skakel
