Blames TV staff for leaking vocals of her embarrassing performance
Don’t get me wrong. Mariah Carey is a superstar, a diva, a very successful recording artist..
That said…what the heck was she thinking Wednesday night?'
During the annual Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree Lighting Show on NBC, Ms. Carey was late for rehearsals. So she decided to just sing without any warm-up.
After all, the song was “All I Want For Christmas Is You,”one of her most popular hit songs, a song she’s sung hundreds of times. How bad could it be?
Well, it was pretty bad!
To make matters worse, after the performance Deadspin found that track which isolated Mariah Carey’s voice.
#EpicFail!
In the aftermath of that bomb, Mariah allegedly went apoplectic, blaming disgruntled NBC tech crew members how she thought were seeking revenge for her being so late to the performance.
Mariah, sweetheart, you’ve only got yourself to blame for those flat notes.
You did, however, earn yourself "The Fool of the Week" honors!
