Jennifer Lopez has established herself in Hollywood as a singer, actress, producer and a proud mother of two. The international superstar’s latest creation will further cement her place in the hearts of young girls: two Barbie dolls made in her likeness: Jennifer Lopez World Tour – a smiling, bedazzled Lopez – and Jennifer Lopez Red Carpet – wearing an elegant gown.

Sitting next to the brand new dolls, the 44-year-old star told  ET, “I wanted to live in Barbie’s world. I wanted to be Barbie.”

The Puerto Rican actress said Barbie represents the idea of infinite possibilities. She said she hopes her children and others will be inspired to aspire for a fruitful future and dream big.

“I feel the most proud of myself when I’m being a great mom,” Lopez explained. “Your children emulate what you do and I always want to set a good example for them.

“So to give them this, they can play in their rooms, and go, ‘What am I going to do with my life?’ You just have to follow your dreams,” she explained. “You should dream big because you never know what’s going to happen.”

“She really worked her way to the top,” said Robert Best, director of design for the Barbie Collector. “I think she’s gotten to where she is through hard work, dedication, perseverance. She’s really an incredible role model for young girls, and for anyone honestly.”

As Lopez pointed out to ET, “I kind of turned my own life into Barbie’s.”
