So it looks like the new Boston Celtic has officially kicked off his acting career in the newest episode of The Mindy Project. We're not one to judge his abilities, but we do know he found a way to sneak in some shade on his family that used to be.

The former Nets big man appeared on the Tuesday night episode as a member of Danny's (Chris Messina) single men's support group, the Getting Over It Gang. Humphries, who was married to Kim Kardashian for just 72 days before she filed for divorce, made sure to toss some dirt on his ex's show and even made fun of himself while he was at it.

"You don't want to be like me, sitting at home, alone, Saturday nights, watching trashy reality TV shows," Humphries said, after taking a breather from playing some ball with his support group. "I'm not going to name which ones, trust me. You're better off over there."

Oh, Kris. It seems as if your ex-wifey has rubbed off on you. You're finding other ways to make money with no real talent for what you're getting paid for. Well ... she actually did show some talent, but we won't go there.

The fans on Twitter seemed to dig the appearance though.

@mindykaling I almost cried when I saw James Franco leaving the show and thank you for this Kris Humphries moment.

between the addition of James Franco and featuring Kris Humphries in the Getting Over It Gang, @MindyProjectFOX is the best show ever!

Lmao. Kris Humphries was on The Mindy Project as a bitter divorced man, so basically himself. ¿¿¿¿

According to Us Weekly , Humphries was self-conscious about his lack of acting skills, but he had fun regardless. "You're always nervous where people are really talented and you don't do this really, but as time went on, just being out there and messing around with the guys... I loosened up a little bit and ended up having a good time."

Let's hope he gets as many positive reviews for his actual job in Boston this season.
