Foxboro, MA – New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady's exit from Wednesday's practice was nothing more than a scare.
The star quarterback was back on the practice field Thursday, one day after leaving a training camp session early with a sprained left knee.
Brady was injured Wednesday when Patriots offensive tackle Nate Solder was pushed into him during a pass play during full team drills. Solder was driven into Brady during a bull rush from Tampa Bay defensive end Adrian Clayborn.
MRI results revealed Brady's knee didn't suffer any structural damage. Brady went through Thursday's practice wearing a hinged knee brace.
Brady, who tore the ACL in his same knee in Week 1 of the 2008 season, is expected to play in Friday's preseason game against the Buccaneers.
