Owings Mills, MD (SportsNetwork.com) - Baltimore running back Ray Rice will be a game-time decision to play Sunday against the Texans because of a left hip flexor strain, Ravens coach John Harbaugh said Friday.

Rice didn't practice this week after going down near the end of Sunday's win over the Browns and was listed as doubtful on the injury report.

If Rice was healthy, Harbaugh said "there's no question" he could play despite missing practice.

"When guys like that don't play because they haven't practiced, it's because they're not ready physically," said Harbaugh. "It's not because we have some kind of rule around here like that. It has to do with how ready a guy is to play."

Rice, 26, wasn't touched before he fell to the ground on a run in the fourth quarter. He had 13 carries for 36 yards and a fumble before leaving. The Ravens scored a touchdown on the drive after he was injured and won the game 14-6.

Harbaugh said defensive lineman Chris Canty would also be a game-time decision with a thigh injury. Canty was listed as doubtful to play.
