TUCSON, Ariz. – Rich Rodriguez had an immediate impact at Arizona, exciting the fan base with his fast-paced offense and a winning first season in the desert.
Now it's time for the encore.
With much-needed depth on defense and a year of experience in Rodriguez's spread offense, the Wildcats are hoping to build on their 8-5 season in 2012.
The offense will be led by All-American running back Ka'Deem Carey, who may feel like he has something to prove after a rough offseason.
Arizona will have a tight competition to replace Matt Scott at quarterback and still has some questions on defense, but appears to be headed in the right direction under Rodriguez.
