Matthew McConaughey gets older, but these fanny packs stay the same rage.
The “True Detective” star brought his son to Sunday’s Red Sox-Astros game at Fenway Park, where he monologued about his love of the hip-hugging zipper pouch.
“I’m not afraid of the fanny pack,” he said. “You gotta kinda put it on the side to make it look a little not as nerdy, but still, practicality wins out. I got so much gear in here that I don’t want in my pockets.”
CSN Houston’s Julia Morales, dazed and only a little confused, told McConaughey she too loves the fanny pack.
“Keep doing it, keep wearing it,” the Texas native drawled. “They’ll come back, some decade from now.”
Time is a flat circle, indeed.
