There's already a lot to do in Las Vegas, and three young men added to the list by cruising a flood channel on an air mattress after heavy rains.

The shirtless trio cheered and waved to the KTNV crew as they rode their mattress down the dirty waters of the canal in Henderson on Wednesday. The station reports a police helicopter caught up with them and ordered the riders out of the dangerous, fast-moving water.

The National Weather Service reported more than 1 1/2 inches of rain fell in one hour in Henderson, southeast of the Las Vegas Strip.

A 17-year-old boy is missing after falling into a wash that quickly filled after the downpour. A search for him resumed Thursday.

Firefighters also reported 20 emergency calls from stalled drivers.
