Minsk, Belarus – Winnipeg Jets forward Evander Kane has agreed in principle to a contract with Dinamo Minsk of Russia's Kontinental Hockey League.
Kane heads overseas less than two weeks after signing a six-year deal worth $31.5 million with the Jets that was approved just prior to the Sept. 15 lockout.
The 21-year-old Vancouver native totaled career highs in goals (30), assists (27), points (57) and games played (74) last year in his third pro season.
