Arizona's NCAA tournament run ended heartbreak.

The rest of the season would have to be called a success.

Opening the season with high expectations, the Wildcats won their first 14 games and ended up with 27 victories, reaching the round of 16 for the second time in three years.

Arizona bowed out after Ohio State's LaQuinton Ross hit a 3-pointer with 2 seconds left in the West Region semifinals, but coach Sean Miller said after that he leaves the season with no regrets.

The Wildcats will lose seniors Solomon Hill and Mark Lyons, but athletic guard Nick Johnson will return next season, along with talented big men Brandon Ashley, Grant Jarrett and Kaleb Tarczewski.

Arizona also will have point guard T.J. McConnell, a transfer from Duquesne.
