Los Angeles, CA – The Los Angeles Dodgers have recalled starting pitcher Nathan Eovaldi from Double-A Chattanooga.
Eovaldi is slated to make his season debut on Tuesday against the Milwaukee Brewers. The right-hander is 2-2 with a 3.09 earned run average for Chattanooga this year.
Last season, Eovaldi appeared in 10 games with the Dodgers, starting six. He went 1-2 with a 3.63 ERA in 34 2/3 innings.
To make room for Eovaldi, the Dodgers optioned lefty Michael Antonini following Monday's game. Antonini did not appear in a major league game for LA in 2012.
