Cleveland, OH (SportsNetwork.com) - Cleveland Cavaliers star LeBron James could miss at least two games with a sprained right wrist, the team said Wednesday.
James missed Wednesday night's game against Portland and is listed as doubtful to play Friday against Sacramento.
The four-time NBA MVP suffered the injury against Detroit on Tuesday when he hit the floor awkwardly under the basket after jumping to block a shot.
A follow-up exam and MRI at Cleveland Clinic on Wednesday revealed the injury, the Cavs said.
James recently missed two weeks with knee and back injuries but had helped the Cavs win a season-high seven consecutive games entering Wednesday.
Kyrie Irving scored a career-high 55 points with James out of the lineup and the Cavs pushed their streak to eight games with a 99-94 win over the Trail Blazers on Wednesday.
They are 2-8 without James in the lineup this season.
