The Ted Cruz campaign announced Friday it raised more than $12.5 million in March, a fundraising record for the Texas senator's Republican presidential campaign.

According to the campaign, they pulled in nearly 240,000 donations.

The haul was announced after the senator's big win earlier this week in the Wisconsin primary.

“This is yet another sign that conservatives are coalescing behind our campaign,” Cruz said in a statement. “The path to victory in the nomination and winning the general election is by standing up for hardworking men and women of America who have been left behind by Washington."

The campaign has raised more than $78 million from more than 450,000 donors to date.
