San Diego moved an offensive tackle to move under the 53-man roster limit.

On Saturday, the Chargers traded versatile lineman Jeremiah Sirles to the Vikings. They received a sixth-round pick in the 2016 NFL Draft for the Nebraska alumnus.

Sirles played four different positions on San Diego's line this preseason. But the Chargers ended up crowded at his position -- their final roster featured 10 different offensive linemen. Sirles was a long-shot to squeak in.

Instead, he'll head to a team that could put him to work. And in return, a late-round pick will head back to San Diego.
