BERKELEY, Calif. – Reshanda Gray scored 21 points and grabbed eight rebounds to lead No. 14 Cal women past Creighton 94-69 in the Cal Classic on Saturday night.
Courtney Range added 17 points and Justine Hartman scored 13 for Cal (6-0). Brittany Boyd finished with 14 points, seven rebounds, eight assists and five steals and the Golden Bears made 37 of 67 (55.2 percent) field goals.
Marissa Janning scored eight of Creighton's first 10 points and the Bluejays led by one with 15:34 left in the first half.
Range hit a pair of 3-pointers, Boyd made back-to-back baskets and Gray scored four points during the ensuing 14-2 run which ended with Cal leading 25-12.
Creighton (3-3) made just 10 of 35 (28.6 percent) field goals in the first half and never got closer than down 13 in the second.
Janning scored 22 points and hit 5 of 9 from 3-point range.
