Model Charlotte McKinney is about to take center stage as one of the cast members for season 20 of the hit show "Dancing With The Stars." The Carl’s Jr Super Bowl commercial star spoke with FOX411 about how she hopes the show will showcase her best asset – her personality – and kick the Kate Upton comparisons aside once and for all.
“I am flattered to be compared to Kate, she’s beautiful and I am a fan but we are different people and I am excited to get this chance for America to also see my personality and learn more about me and where I come from,” said McKinney.
She said her decision to do the show was to broaden her fan base, and rock some over-the-top dancing attire.
“I love the show and think it appeals to a lot of different audiences and age groups," she said. "Adults like it but so do their kids. The costumes are great and the judges can be hilarious!”
Although the blonde bombshell took a few dance classes in her day, she's far from formally trained.
“I like every 8-year-old was enrolled in a class because I love to dance," she said. "I was so disappointed when I saw that I couldn't do my own dance, but I actually had to follow instructions.”
Which could bode ill for her dance pro partner Keo Motsepe, as McKinney likes to dance to her own beat.
“I have never been big on being told what to do," she said. "So good luck Keo.”
