But out of nowhere, Bills receiver Don Beebe comes charging from behind and knocks the ball out of Lett’s hands.read moreAPShare
- Dallas Cowboys tight end Jackie Smith was the “sickest man in America” during Super Bowl XIII against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Smith was wide open in the end zone when he dropped a certain touchdown in the third quarter. The Cowboys were down 21-14 at the time, and ended up losing to the Steelers 35-31.read more
- What couldn’t Joe Montana do? While Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Boomer Esiason was filming an. “I’m Going to Disney World” commercial with the Bengals leading 16-13 over the San Francisco 49ers with 3:10 left in Super Bowl XXIII, Joe Cool had other ideas. Montana led the 'Niners 92 yards down the field, eventually connecting with wide receiver John Taylor with just 35 seconds left in the game. In the final two minutes of the game against the Washington Redskins, Dolphins kicker Garo Yepremian picked up a blocked field goal and attempted a forward pass but batted it in the air. Redskins cornerback Mike Bass intercepted and returned it for a 49-yard touchdown. Luckily for the Dolphins that was all the scoring the Redskins did.
